The challenge in remodeling this kitchen was how to accommodate the clients desire for connectedness to the other spaces, having ample storage space and the ability to cook and socialize, while staying within the existing footprint of the room as well as few options to remove walls or parts of them.

The small bar area connects the kitchen and the dining / living space, but also doubles as a prep space. This layout is a good example of how even in a small space cooking and socializing can be brought together.
